LD12 needs you now!!
This is an historic and crucial year for Democrats. We must win back the Legislature in 2010!
And I'm sure you're asking yourself, what can I do to help?
One of most important things any of us can do, is canvass door to door or by phone to help sign more people up on PEVL, get petition signatures for our candidates and hand out literature. LD12 has partnered with the State Democratic Party to win in our district and to that end, we have committed to knocking on 2,500 doors by May. Our first walk in March was very productive but not very well attended. So in order to reach our goal, we need a minimum of 15 walkers for each of our walks in April and May.
We are also planning a phone canvass for people who prefer not to walk.
So what can you do?
1) Sign up to walk with us on Saturday, April 3rd at 9am. We will meet in the parking lot of Desert Mirage Elementary School, 8605 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale. Sign up here to walk
2) Sign up for our phone canvass on Sunday, April 18th at 4pm. Sign up here to call
3) Come to our monthly meeting on Thursday, April 1st. We have a lot of fun things planned and a special guest speaker! Agenda to come.
4) Contribute. As an LD we are allowed to spend money on voter outreach activities, so if you can't walk or call, your money can still help us to reach voters. You can make a one time contribution or set it up as recurring monthly payment. Click here to contribute
See you all soon!!
You have to wonder if it's possible to use reason to win
