Maricopa County 2011 Fall Convention
A Message from Chair Ann Wallack, Maricopa County Democratic Party
2011 has been a great year for the Maricopa County Democratic Party. Please join us for our post-election re-cap. In addition to the critical Phoenix Municipal elections, we have been fighting every day to change the shape of the electorate through registration, PEVL, and developing volunteer leadership. Please join us for fellowship, celebration, and a chance to look forward to the 2012 County Program.
The Convention will be held Saturday, December 3rd from 10 AM to noon at the UA Local 469 – 3109 N 24th Street in Phoenix. The convention is open to all Precinct Committeepersons and activists.
See you there,
Ann

October PEVL Walk
Don’t like what’s going on in our state? It’s time to step up. Join us, we need your help. Government goes to those who show up. Don’t let the tea party make decisions for you!
Join LD12 to kick off the fall PEVL season. This fall our goal is to register voters for the Permanent Early Voter List throughout LD12. Our first walk is scheduled for October 8th in the Desert Edge precinct. We will walk for PEVL and also help the Aqua Fria School District with its school bond election. Voters we sign up for PEVL will get the bond issue ballot at home. This will increase the voter turnout for the bond election and help the schools. Have difficulty walking? We need drivers too!
We will meet at 8AM at the park on the northwest corner of 157th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. From I-10 take Estrella Parkway south to Lower Buckeye Road and go west to 157th Avenue. Breakfast will be provided. Bring your friends and neighbors.
